Easter egg hunt in Antioch

Antioch parks and recreation department is sponsoring the annual Eggcellent Easter Adventure on March 26. The two-part event features a parade and an egg hunt. The parade will start at 10:30 a.m. in downtown Antioch on Main Street (Route 83) at Park Avenue, north to Williams Street. An Easter egg hunt for children aged 1 to 10 will follow at Williams Park. Participants must preregister at the parks office, 806 Holbek Drive. The cost is $3 per child until March 18, and $5 the week of the event. A wristband guarantees a spot in the hunt and 10 eggs per child, and a chance to win a special Easter basket. Limit is 700 children.
