Northwest suburban eateries serve up deals for restaurant week

Short rib grilled cheese, gnocchi carbonara, Southern-style shrimp and grits, lobster roll, chocolate “power pellets.” Is your mouth watering yet? If the answer is yes, you're in luck as it's time for the third annual Chicago Northwest Restaurant Week.

This year, more than 35 restaurants, from casual bistros to upscale eateries, will be serving up specialty meals and deals Feb. 18 to 28. Diners will be able to sample from three-course prix fixe menus at lunch ($10, $20) and dinner ($20, $30, $40).

“Chicago Northwest Restaurant Week 2016 offers a fantastic and affordable way to find your next favorite Chicagoland restaurant,” said Dave Parulo, president of Meet Chicago Northwest, in a prepared statement. “We are so excited about the number and variety of our restaurant partners planning to participate this year.”
