Penn State upsets No. 17 Michigan State women 65-61

EAST LANSING, Mich. (AP) - Teniya Page scored 20 points, including a tiebreaking basket with a minute remaining, and Penn State upset No. 17 Michigan State 65-61 on Thursday.

Page gave the Lady Lions (9-15, 4-9 Big Ten) a 62-61 lead and added another bucket with 20 seconds left. A free throw by Lindsey Spann closed out the scoring.

Penn State snapped a four-game losing streak in claiming just its eighth victory over the Spartans in the last 11 meetings. The Spartans won 71-55 at Penn State on Jan. 7.

Brianna Banks added 16 points and Candice Agee 10 for Penn State.

MSU's Aerial Powers had 18 points and 14 rebounds for her eighth double-double this season and 42nd of her career before fouling out with 43 seconds left.

Tori Jankoska added 14 points for MSU (18-6, 9-4), which had 20 turnovers turn into 27 Lions points and gave up a 14-point, third-quarter lead.
