Tulsa announces 2016 college football schedule

TULSA, Okla. (AP) - The University of Tulsa has announced its 2016 football schedule that includes six home games and a road trip to Ohio State.
The scheduled released Tuesday shows TU opening the season at home on Sept. 3 against San Jose State, followed a week later with a trip to Columbus, Ohio, to take on Ohio State.
Tulsa returns home to play North Carolina A&T on Sept. 17, then travels to Fresno State on Sept. 24. TU then hosts SMU on Oct. 7, travels to Houston on Oct. 15, plays homecoming against Tulane on Oct. 22 before a trip to Memphis on Oct. 29.
Tulsa is back home against East Carolina on Nov. 5 followed by trips to Navy on Nov. 12 and Central Florida on Nov. 19 before ending the regular season at home against Cincinnati.
