Honoring youth

Join the Lake County Forest Preserves for a tribute to African-American youth at the 33rd Annual Profiles in Excellence program at the Greenbelt Cultural Center, 1215 Green Bay Road, North Chicago. 'Brush Up' on the Bard

The "Brush Up Your Shakespeare" national juried art show, featuring artwork inspired by Shakespeare's works, comes to the David Adler Music and Arts Center, 1700 N. Milwaukee Ave., Libertyville. The exhibition is part of "First Folio! The Book That Gave Us Shakespeare," a national traveling exhibit at the Lake County Discovery Museum in Wauconda.
