McFun for Western Trails Elementary School at the Stratford Sq. McDonald's

On Thursday, February 4, Western Trails Elementary School held a very successful McTeacher's Night at the McDonald's in Bloomingdale at Stratford Square. The restaurant was full of families supporting the school as well as waiting to see their teachers and Principal Sebastian. McTeacher Schuefler was in the pie costume the entire night and all the kids loved it. She was a huge hit and helped the school raise a lot of money.

Teachers overtook the restaurant serving up delicious meals to students and families to raise money for Western Trails Elementary School PTA. Thirty-one teachers worked from the school, including the Principal. Principal Sebastian worked very hard while supporting the staff. The Western Trails families were so thrilled to see the Principal and teachers from the school. The McTeacher jobs included, greeting guests, cleaning the lobby, working the front counter, serving drinks, clearing tables, and serving ice cream and selling pies.

Western Trails McTeachers had it all covered, and the families enjoyed a spectacular evening. The PTA plans to use the money raised to go into the fund to pay for birthday books for the children. Lots of students, teachers, families and friends came out in their support. All the kids came to see their teachers work at the Bloomingdale McDonald's. Special thank-you goes to PTA Vice-President, Megan Smart, who organized the entire event.
