COD Offers Executive Protection Training Program March 21 to 25

The Homeland Security Training Institute at College of DuPage will host an Executive Protection Specialist Training program geared toward both prospective protection specialists and working professionals. This program will be held from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Monday, March 21, to Friday, March 25.

Presented by the Protection Institute, LLC, this course will provide participants with knowledge and hands-on experience in operating procedures and techniques of an executive protection detail. Topics covered will include attack countermeasures, motorcade operations, protection formations, surveillance detection and the role of the advance agent. In addition, this course will cover vehicle dynamics and tactical firearm proficiency and will culminate in an exercise during which participants plan and carry out simulated operations leading the protectee safely through a series of scenarios.

Fifty percent off registration is available for a second participant from the same organization.
