Light pollution and you
Get the scoop on light pollution at the next Green Drinks meetings, 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 9, at O'Toole's Pub, 412 N. Milwaukee Ave., Libertyville. Drew Carhart, board member of the Illinois Coalition for Responsible Outdoor Lighting, will be the presenter on a little-known topic that has large-scale effects. He'll discuss how so much of how we light our world is wasting energy and affecting the environment and people. All are welcome. Must be 21 to purchase alcohol.
