Learn about Domestic Violence Act Thursday at Dundee Library

On Thursday, Feb. 4, the Fox River Public Library District will welcome attorney William James Rock for an informative presentation on the Illinois Domestic Violence Act at 7 p.m.

Rock has tried several bench and jury trials regarding the Illinois Domestic Violence Act and has spoken several times before state and local judicial associations and bar associations.

The presentation will include a definition of the Illinois Domestic Violence Act, victim's rights, and how to access information.

The Community Crisis Center of Elgin will also be supplementing materials. This topic informs the public and businesses alike.
