Pickup truck slides off Roosevelt Road into house
A pickup truck slid off an icy Roosevelt Road near Winfield and crashed into a house, causing minor injuries to the driver.
The crash occurred on the 28W000 block of Roosevelt Road near Wynwood about 6 a.m., DuPage County Sheriff's office reported.
No one in the residence was injured, authorities said.
The driver of the truck was taken to Central DuPage Hospital with minor injuries.

DuPage County building officials were called to check the residence to see if it is structurally sound and safe for occupancy, authorities said.
The crash remains under investigation.
Sheriff's officials said no traffic delays or re-routings were caused as a result of the crash.
