Palatine Rotary hosting casino night fundraiser Feb. 5

The Rotary Club of Palatine is holding a casino night Friday, Feb. 5, at the American Legion Hall, 122 W. Palatine Road in Palatine, to raise funds for Rotary and Rotary Charities.

For a $5 entry fee, participants can play blackjack, poker, over and under dice roll, and other games from 6 p.m. to midnight. A full-service bar will be open.

"Our goal is to make these friendly neighborhood games," said Liz Noe, casino night project chairwoman. "We encourage camaraderie between the players as well as with their dealers."

Rotary is a worldwide organization of business and professional leaders that provides humanitarian service, encourages high ethical standards in all vocations, and helps build goodwill and peace in the world.
