Wheaton teacher should be fired for arrogance

Lyricia Hawkins offended millions of Christians with her controversial comment about God.

She stated that Christians and Muslims worship the same God. How does she know what God Christians worship? If Lyricia had made that statement about other races/ethnic/society she would have been dismissed immediately and she should be fired now.

Her job was to teach political science and not faith.

To further demean Christians' beliefs, she posted on Facebook that she would wear the Hijab in solidarity with Muslim women during Advent. If Hawkins wants to support Islam, it's her choice, but to say that she has no regrets about what she said or done or how she carried herself, shows her arrogance toward those that she has offended.

And for that she must be fired.
