Norris offers 'Super' deal on tickets for Feb. 7 Music in the Gallery concert

St. Charles, Jan. 28 - The Norris Cultural Arts Center knows what's on the calendar Feb. 7. Oh, and there's a football game, too.

To entice Bronco and Panther fans away from the pregame show, The Norris is offering half-price admission to its "Music in the Gallery" concert that day to anyone who shows up wearing any NFL-logoed attire. That's $7.50 for adults and $5 for children under 12 to hear a performance by the highly accomplished woodwind quintet, Quintessence.

The ensemble is comprised of members of the Fox Valley Concert Band, The Norris' "resident" ensemble that presents four concerts every year in The Norris theater, 1040 Dunham Road.

Quintessence will present a program of wind quintets and arrangements performed by Mike LaGow, flute; Lou Parker, oboe; Jim Mamminga, bassoon; Jan Mamminga, clarinet; and Donna Petry, horn.

The concert kicks off at 3 p.m. and ends at 4:30 p.m., giving attendees ample time to get home for the game's 5:30 p.m. kickoff.
