Records fall at Mundelein in Stevenson's victory

Stevenson's boys swimming team broke a pair of pool records at Mundelein on Thursday in claiming a sixth straight victory in North Suburban Conference dual meets, and its seventh dual overall, to improve to 7-0 this season.

The Patriots had the winning performance in every event but one in claiming a 137-48 victory.

Stevenson's record-setting efforts came in the 200-yard freestyle relay and in the 200 individual medley.

The relay featured John Roh, Topher Stensby, Karl Wadowski and Nick Baginski. They finished in 1:30.13.

In the 200 IM, Daniel Ng won in 2:00.68.

Other winners for Stevenson included Andrew Lefebvre in the 200 free (1:52.83), Jacob Rosenkranz in the 50 free (23.04), Matthew Han in the 100 fly (56.78), Wadowski in the 100 free (49.66), Ng in the 100 back (55.91), Alan Fang in the 100 breaststroke (1:02.63) and Matthew Krames in diving 223.30. The Patriots also had the top-finishing medley and 400 free relays.

Will Garcia had Mundelein's victory, in the 500 free (5:02.16).
