Enjoy an evening with the Lincolns

The Hoosier Grove Museum and the Streamwood Historical Society invite residents to celebrate the lives of President Abraham Lincoln and First Lady Mary Todd Lincoln at "An Evening with Mr. and Mrs. Lincoln" Tuesday, Feb. 9, at the Hoosier Grove Museum, 700 W. Irving Park Road, Streamwood.

The President and Mrs. Lincoln reflect on their lives and the events that shaped them. The performance also looks back at the beginning of their marriage through Lincoln's presidency and ends moments before his death at Ford's Theatre April 14, 1865.

Tickets are $10 per person. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with light refreshments, with the program beginning at 7 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at Park Place Family Recreation Center, 550 S. Park Boulevard, Streamwood.
