So I was headed to the drive thru for an afternoon pick me up of coffee and maybe a donut at an unnamed eatery (you'll never figure out which one) when I saw these deer munching on some greenery just about 20 feet away. Could they have gotten something sweeter from the nearby dumpster? Maybe. Inspired by their healthy choice, I skipped the donut and just went with coffee. But if they're not there next time I'm totally getting donuts. This image was published in the Perspective column in the print edition of the Daily Herald.
