MCC offers supervisory leadership series

CRYSTAL LAKE - McHenry County College's Workforce, Community and Business Programs is accepting registrations for Developmental Dimensions International's Supervisory Leadership Series. The DDI Supervisory series will take place from 8 a.m.-noon Thursdays, Feb. 11-March 31. at McHenry County College Shah Center, 4100 W. Shamrock Lane, McHenry.

In today's highly competitive environment, organizations must be able to jump-start the productivity of their new leaders. Making a successful transition from individual contributor to leader requires strong interpersonal skills. The DDI Supervisory Leadership curriculum accelerates the development of these important people skills. The series weekly topics include: Essentials of Leadership, Getting Started as a New Leader, Resolving Conflict, Delegating for Results, Setting Goals and Reviewing Performance, Coaching for Improvement, Communicating for Leadership Success and Achieving Your Leadership Potential.

Participants can register for individual courses or the entire series. The eight-course series fee is discounted by 10 percent at $1,188. Use course code: NTL S22 003 to register for this leadership series and contact the Shah Center for individual course information. Cost for an individual course is $165.
