Volunteers are needed Jan. 27-28 in Lake County for the 2016 Point In Time count of all sheltered and unsheltered homeless people. It is part of an effort throughout the United States to get a snapshot of homeless people on a given day. Lake County needs team captains and vehicles to travel and count unsheltered homeless on the night of Jan. 27, or those at soup kitchens or other known locations on the morning/afternoon Jan. 28.
