McShane completes third phase of community project

ROSEMONT - McShane Construction Co. recently completed the third phase of construction at The Lodge of Northbrook, a development of Essex Communities.

Following the successful completion of the original 58-unit Phase I and the 20-unit Phase II, McShane Construction was selected for the additional construction of the 44,764 square foot Phase III expansion at the luxury active senior living community.

Located on a six-acre site at 2220 Founders Drive in Northbrook, The Lodge of Northbrook offers 18 additional fully-featured one- and two-bedroom units as well as two-bedroom floor plans with dens. The Phase III component includes an additional elevator, a new bistro cafe with commercial kitchen, and an underground parking expansion.

JSSH Architects, Inc., architect of Phase I and II, provided the architectural services for Phase III of the development.
