Time to sign up for District 118 kindergarten

Kindergarten registration in Wauconda Unit District 118 will take place at the three elementary schools Monday, March 7, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Students must be 5 years of age on or before Sept. 1, 2016, and live within the district's boundaries to be eligible to register for kindergarten. Parents will be asked to complete the necessary paperwork to enroll their child and to bring the following documents: two pieces of proof of residency and your child's state-issued birth certificate. Beginning Feb. 16, registration packets may be picked up in advance at the school offices or downloaded from the district website: www.d118.org.
