Gavin District 37 school board seeks to fill vacancy
The Gavin District 37 school board is soliciting interested applicants who would be willing to fill the position of school board member.
Anyone interested should direct a letter to Superintendent, Gavin School District 37, 25775 W. Highway 134, Ingleside, IL 60041.
The letter should include the reason for wanting to serve on the board, the applicant's history, and civic involvement. Letters should be received by Feb. 5, 2016.
In order to serve on a board of education, a person must be a citizen of the United Slates, at least 18 years of age, a resident of the state of Illinois and the Gavin School District for at least one year, and a registered voter.
