Geneva library features watercolor paintings at monthly display

Throughout January, view 19 watercolor paintings by Mary Ellen Segraves at the Geneva Public Library, 127 James St.

Segraves rekindled a lifelong interest in painting after many years working in the corporate world. She has studied with a number of local and international artists and continually seeks new ways to create graceful images in watercolor.

Her work has been exhibited in juried and non-juried shows with Illinois Watercolor Society, Norris Gallery in St. Charles, Art in Your Eye in Batavia, Fine Line Creative Arts Center in St. Charles, DuPage Art League in Wheaton, and more.

The library seeks local artists to display their work in its art gallery on a monthly basis. Contact Jeannie Esposito at (630) 313-1008 or visit www.gpld.org/artgallery.
