Winter storm advisory canceled

A winter weather advisory has been canceled for the suburbs, but bitter cold air will make for a chilly Sunday.

Forecasters earlier Saturday warned the storm could bring 3-6 inches of heavy, wet snow and low visibility.

But most suburbs saw just light accumulation. At O'Hare International Airport, the National Weather Service reported just more than an inch had fallen by 6 p.m.

Temperatures Sunday are expected to drop throughout the day, with afternoon highs around 14 degrees. Wind chills should be around -8.
