Investigators seek clues to cause of Round Lake fire

Fire investigators are seeking the cause of a fire that destroyed a Round Lake home Friday night.
Inspectors continue to survey the badly damaged home on the 1500 block of South Amarias Drive, officials from the Greater Round Lake Fire Protection District said Sunday.
There were no reported injuries from the fire, which started at 5:37 p.m. on Friday, officials said. Crews were on the scene until about 9 p.m.
Fire officials were unable to say Sunday how many people were affected by the blaze, and they did not have a monetary estimate on the damage it caused.
