Families go on winter weather adventures in McHenry County

Snow or no, winter is a great time to explore outdoors.
The McHenry County Conservation District took families on a winter adventure with Winter Explorations Saturday afternoon at Marengo Ridge Conservation Area.
People could stop by anytime from noon to 3 p.m. to check out stations that include making a home for a mouse, playing in snow and leaves, looking for tracks and more.
