What actions are needed to produce a healthy federal budget? Specifically, what changes do you advocate regarding how revenue is produced or what our spending priorities are? In particular, what effect does current policy have on your district and what changes, if any, are needed?I will sponsor single issues bills eliminating pork and waste. I will introduce real tax reform with a simplified tax code such as a fair tax (a consumption tax) or flat tax. Therefore, no one in government can use taxing laws to go after their "enemies" who are fellow Americans as the IRS and Lois Lerner did to multiple conservative and charitable groups. Current policies have brought about the loss of technical and manufacturing jobs as well as business start-ups due to the current tax code and federal policies. What immigration policies do you support? Where, if at all, do you see room for compromise to produce an effective policy on immigration? How will these policies have an impact in your district?Comprehensive immigration reform starts with three steps. First, we secure the border to stop the flow of illegal traffic back and forth without challenge such as terrorist, kidnapped women and children, drugs, guns and money. This has always been a National Security issue and must be job one. Second, a comprehensive overhaul of the work visa programs to protect our small businesses and their employees while providing legal status to documented immigrants to pay taxes and not allow dependency upon social programs. Finally, I will call for an audit of the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services to rectify the gridlock of legal immigration. This will afford these individuals the opportunity to apply for citizenship, but will not advance them before those who have applied the right and fair way. What should be the top priorities in Congress related to the Affordable Care Act? If you want changes, what specifically do you recommend? If you want the act entirely eliminated, please address these questions: Is that politically feasible? If it proves infeasible, where do you see the potential for compromise? If it is eliminated, what would you replace it with, if anything? Some features of Affordable Care Act are beneficial to Americans, such as the elimination of the preexisting condition, however the manner in which the law as written and passed did not allow for a thorough review. We have seen multiple unintended-consequences of this law due to the failure of our leadership to understand the healthcare sector. The overlooked cost factors are another reason why the law needs a thorough investigation, reexamining the cost drivers, such as the recent report by the CBO (Congressional Budget Office) regarding the loss of 2 million hours of employment. What military or diplomatic roles should the United States play to promote peace and stability in the Mideast? Under what circumstances, should we have military forces actively operating?America has and always shall be a beacon of freedom, hope and opportunity. These three American principles are bound in strength and security. America must play a role in global security, that role should be not just be defined by military action, but as well as technological advancements, training, diplomacy and military operations should be a last resort approved by congress. We have created international bullying laws to protect those who cannot nor will not protect themselves. Please list any elected office you have ever run for and what the result of that election was.
