Do you believe Kane County Board/Forest Preserve District members should have continued access to per diem payments, health insurance and pension benefits?
I believe that Kane County Board/Forest Preserve District members should have access to only one position where they have access to per diem payments, health insurance and pension benefits.
For decisions that specifically or mainly impact one county board district, should the rest of the board defer to the wishes of the county board member who represents the impacted district?
I believe that we as County Board members should received input from all board members, however, the final decision should be weighted by the representative elected for that district.
Do you support the redevelopment of the former Settler's Hill landfill? What is your vision for the future use of that site?
I support the redevelopment of the former Settler's Hill landfill. The surrounding neighborhoods and traffic patterns should not be affected by any changes.
Do you support the push to keep the tax levies frozen for both the county board and forest preserve district? How long is it realistic for that freeze to remain in place?
Yes. In my first 30 days in office we froze the tax levy for the first time and have saved taxpayers $16 million each year for 4 years.

What other issues, if any, are important to you as a candidate for this office?
I feel it is important to be transparent in all business, continue to deny any tax increases, and vote according to my constituents needs.

What is the biggest lesson you learned at home growing up?
Anything is possible with hard work.

Communication. It is a lifetime skill in business, politics and relationships.
