Gender is part of God's design

These comments are in response to the column written by Burt Constable on Dec. 27. Burt wrote regarding transgenderism - for the uninformed, girls suddenly becoming boys, and boys girls.

I am assuming Burt did this without consulting with our Lord, who of course is the author of all life, both male and female. In this particular case an attractive and active young lady who has decided in spite of anatomy and God's own design, to suddenly become a male.

Just as simple as a pronoun change, a she to a he. All of this just in time for the Christmas season honoring the birth of Christ.

I cannot think of a more confusing issue to all, especially our children.

There are an abundance of books promoting gender confusion as young as middle school; in Massachusetts in kindergarten. One example, the book "My Princess Boy."

Locally we witness this with the well-deserved complaints from many regarding "bathroom use" in District 211.

Yes Burt, the gender on our birth certificate is indeed the same as what you refer to as "between our ears."

Our liberal-leaning friends have taken God out of our schools, our government, and even many churches. Now an attempt to take HIM out of the creative powers HE has used for each and every one of us.

Shame on those whose silence allows this to happen.
