New Year's Fit Fest in Schaumburg Jan. 2
Kick off the new year by sampling Schaumburg Park District's fitness classes in a fun and festive atmosphere.
The New Year's Fit Fest is set for 8 a.m. to noon, Saturday, Jan. 2, at the Community Recreation Center, 505 N. Springinsguth Road in Schaumburg.
Participants may attend as many fitness classes as they'd like, with classes being offered in 20- and 30-minute intervals. Included in the selection are cycling, strength training, Zumba and TRX. The event also features a raffle to win fitness-related prizes.
