District 56 highlights employees in new video series
Gurnee Elementary District 56 has launched a new website video series to highlight the work of the district's employees.
Called ":56 in 56," the series is designed to celebrate district workers and share stories about them. A new employee will be featured in a 56-second video each month.
"The backbone of our district is the outstanding, dedicated staff that work with our students on a daily basis," a statement on the district's website reads. "We hope you enjoy getting to know our staff better as we celebrate those who exemplify the 'Spirit of 56.'"
Shanise Perez, a first grade bilingual teacher at River Trail School, is featured in the current video posted at d56.org.
