Gurnee Teacher of the Year nominees sought

Woodland Elementary District 50 announced nominations from parents, students, community and employees are being sought for the next Gurnee Teacher of the Year. The award is given to a teacher from Woodland, Gurnee Elementary District 56 and Warren Township High School. The teacher will receive a plaque, a check for $1,000 and formally recognized at a Gurnee village board meeting April 4. The award was introduced in 2014. Nomination forms may be completed online at dist50.net.
