Walnut Crescents

2 sticks of butter, softened

1¾ cup of powdered sugar

1 teaspoon of vanilla

1 cup ground walnuts

2 cups all-purpose flour

In a stand mixer, mix butter and ¾ cup of powdered sugar until creamy. Mix in vanilla and walnuts. Slowly add the flour until a sticky dough forms. Take dough out of the bowl and wrap in cling wrap. Refrigerate for 2 hours. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Break off 1 tablespoon of dough at a time, roll in your palm and shape into crescents. Place on baking sheet and bake for 13-15 minutes or until cookies are set and lightly brown on the bottom. Cool completely then roll in powdered sugar until well coated.
