$100 to buy a student eyeglasses

Today's winner of a $100 bill through the Believe Project is Maureen Wright of Mundelein.

Here is an excerpt of her story:

"After many weeks of not being able to see the board, a student finally had an eye exam that confirmed what we knew - he needs glasses. Being on Medicare, the student won't receive the glasses until March. I would love for him to receive his glasses sooner so he can see the board and have a successful year in school!"

• The Believe Project is awarding $100 each day in December to a different person with a good idea for how to use the money to do a good deed for someone else. Submit your idea in 150 words or fewer at events.dailyherald.com/believe-project.
