Put your nomination in for Hanover Twp. Community Service Awards

Nominations are now being accepted for the 2016 annual Hanover Township Supervisor Brian P. McGuire Community Service Awards. The awards are designed to recognize organizations and individuals who volunteer their time to make Hanover Township an outstanding place to live, work and raise a family.

Awards are selected by a committee of dedicated volunteers from the community. The 2015-2016 committee is made up of the following volunteers: Chairperson Linda Best, Lori Ann Airdo, Lee Beattie, Mike Dexter and Lorrie Glaser.

Individuals and organizations can be nominated in any of the follow categories:

• Adult Volunteer Service Award, (ages 18 and older)

• Senior Volunteer Service Award

• Business Community Service Award

• Mel Runzel Award

• Youth Volunteer Service Award, (ages 17 and younger)

• Service Club/Organization

Award applications are available at the Hanover Township Town Hall, 250 S. Route 59, in Bartlett, or online at www.hanover-township.org. Nominations are due no later than Feb. 12, 2016.

Candidates will be judged on their leadership, commitment and impact in the community.
