Metra Milwaukee District West Line trains moving again

Trains on the Metra Milwaukee District West Line are moving again, but experiencing delays of up to 60 minutes.

All trains were stopped in River Grove after a train hit a pedestrian, Metra is reporting on metrarail.com.

The Milwaukee District West Line makes stops in Bartlett, Hanover Park, Schaumburg and Wood Dale.

Numerous trains have been rerouted and additional trains have been set up to make up for the delays.

People are urged to check metrarail.com for up to date delay information.

The cause of the accident and the condition of the pedestrian is unknown at this time.
