District 103 preschool screening

Lincolnshire-Prairie View Elementary District 103 is offering a winter preschool screening for district residents Friday, Jan. 15, for 3- and 4-year-old children for whom there may be concerns in the areas of gross or fine motor skills, speech/language, or conceptual development.

Vision/hearing screenings also will be offered.

This screening is for preschoolers with developmental concerns and not for determining a child's kindergarten readiness. The screening will run from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Laura B. Sprague School, 2425 Riverwoods Road, Lincolnshire.

District 103 residents who would like to have a child participate in this screening should reserve an appointment by calling Mary Burks in student services at (847) 457-9313 no later than Friday, Jan. 8.
