Police investigating death of Elgin couple
A husband and wife in their 70s were found dead Saturday morning in an Elgin home, police said.
Officers were conducting a welfare check about 7 a.m. at the home on the 100 block of Brookside Drive, police said.
Detectives determined that the deceased are husband and wife and that there are no suspects being sought in the investigation, police said.
Police are withholding the couple's names until family can be reached.
