Notice of property tax increase season

It must be tax raising season. I see all these notices in the paper that read: "NOTICE OF PROPOSED PROPERTY TAX INCREASE FOR ... "

Then I read Toni Preckwinkle is running around looking for every possible tax to create, or raise. It's really scary.

What I don't read is, this is where we were able to cut expenses and save the taxpayers money.

Hey politicians and school boards, here's a clue: Stop spending us into oblivion. People are actually leaving Illinois faster than they are moving here.

You are taxing us out of our homes. If you can't figure out any way possible to cut expenses, please ask anyone who works in private industry how it is done. Or sit down with Gov. Rauner and see if he doesn't have any valid ideas.

And if all else fails, just give me a call, because I'd be happy to tell you how to do it.
