From Indiana to Racine to Black Friday at Gurnee Mills

Tracy Anderson of Indiana said she celebrates Thanksgiving in Racine, Wisconsin, and combines it with a Black Friday shopping trip to Gurnee Mills.
"I like coming here because it's not too crazy, they have all the stores I need, and it's indoors," Anderson said. "Half of my family are from Indiana, the other half are from Racine, and this is an annual shopping trip."
She said she was lucky to find a shopping cart in the parking lot when she arrived at the mall at 7:30 a.m. She pushed it from store to store and collected piles of gift items along the way.
"Bath and Body Works had buy three, get three free, so that was probably my favorite sale," Anderson said. "Kohl's had hooded bath towels for children on sale, so I loaded up there too."
