Dist. 21 board member to lead Illinois Association of School Boards

Wheeling Township Elementary District 21 school board member Phil Pritzker was unanimously elected president of the Illinois Association of School Boards at the organization's 2015 joint annual conference Nov. 21.

The statewide organization represents 6,000 school board members and 843 districts across Illinois.

Pritzker has served as the Illinois Association of School Board vice president for the past two years, and has been re-elected to the school board seven times since he was first appointed to the position in 1989.

Pritzker will serve a 2-year term as president.
