More coverage of budget crisis needed

As a current college student at a Chicago university, I am proud of myself. Through hard work in high school, I was able to attend.

With the current Illinois budgeting issues, a lot of students like me are worried about our financial future. Fellow students are in sort of a panic. The uncertainty of their future in our university is scary. Some students have had to apply for jobs to continue their education. These jobs take away time to study and sometimes even actually attend class.

I have faith in our Illinois government. I believe this "budget crisis" will be taken care of due time. Not everyone will be satisfied, but the majority will just fine. It would be nice if there was more coverage on the topic how our nation's youth is affected by our current leaders' choices.

I agree with the letter from Glen Ellyn. Many of us have not noticed what this lack of budget has done due to lack of media coverage. Many of the youth read newspaper media. They do not know what they do not see. I would like to see more coverage.
