DVD previews: 'Ricki and the Flash,' 'Shaun the Sheep Movie'

Here's a look at DVDs coming out Tuesday, Nov. 24:

"Ricki and the Flash" (PG-13, 101 minutes, Sony): Jonathan Demme-directed tale starring Meryl Streep as an aging rock star trying to reconnect with her estranged daughter (Streep's actress daughter Mamie Gummer). Ricki's band includes real-life rockers Rick Springfield, Joe Vitale and Bernie Worrell. Contains mature thematic material, brief drug content, sexuality and obscenity. Extras include "Getting Ready for Ricki: The Making of Ricki and the Flash." Blu-ray adds deleted scenes, "Rediscovering Rick Springfield" featurette, cast photo gallery.

"Shaun the Sheep Movie" (PG, 85 minutes, Lionsgate): Animated family film from Aardman Studios, the producers of "Chicken Run" and "Wallace & Gromit." Shaun decides that he and his fellow sheep deserve a day off; complications and adventure ensue. Contains what the MPAA calls "rude humor" (i.e., jokes about burping and flatulence that will crack up your kids). Extras include "Making the Shaun Movie" featurette, "Meet the Characters" featurette, "Join Shaun Behind the Scenes" featurette, "Meet the Crew" featurette and a parody poster gallery.

"American Ultra" (R, 96 minutes, Lionsgate): Action-comedy about a stoner (Jesse Eisenberg) who unwittingly has been trained by the CIA to be a sleeper agent. Kristen Stewart plays his girlfriend. Contains violence, obscenity, drug use and mild sensuality. Extras include "Activating American Ultra" documentary, "Assassinating on a Budget" featurette, gag reel and commentary with director Nima Nourizadeh.

Also: "The Badger Game" (woman's revenge scheme against her cheating boyfriend goes wrong), "Chasing a Star" (trio of stories from Israel), "A Christmas Horror Story" (grisly fun on Christmas Eve, featuring William Shatner), "Don't Look Back" (new digital transfer of D.A. Pennebaker's 1965 Bob Dylan documentary), "Guidance" (comedy about a former child actor who becomes a high school guidance counselor), "Jim Henson's Turkey Hollow" (Thanksgiving tale featuring live action and puppets), "The Last House" (man tries to rescue his girlfriend from escaped mental patients), "The Square" (Oscar-nominated documentary about Egypt's 2011 uprising), "White Panther" (Israeli film about a young Russian immigrant torn between two mentors).

Television series: "Inside Amy Schumer: Season 3" (two-disc set with all 10 episodes), "Shaun the Sheep Season 1" (two-disc set includes 40 episodes).
