District 63 offers developmental screenings

District 63's Early Childhood Center will offer free developmental screenings for children ages 36 months and younger who live in the district from 10 a.m.-3:15 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 2, at Melzer Elementary School, 9400 N. Oriole, Morton Grove.

An appointment is required. Call MaryKaye Roycroft at (847) 745-6487 to schedule. To determine residency, visit www.emsd63.org and choose "School Locator/Boundaries" from the Quick Links menu.

East Maine School District 63's Early Childhood Education Center serves more than 200 children annually through programs for at-risk and special-needs children, and a general tuition-based community program.

The district serves a diverse population of more than prek-eighth grade students who live in portions of Des Plaines, Niles, Glenview, Park Ridge, and Morton Grove in its six elementary schools and junior high.
