Classic Cory Ness Victory Motorcycle Donated to Diveheart to Raise Funds for Veterans, Children and Adults With Disabilities

Diveheart is hosting a first look event on Monday, November 23rd at Bill Kay Corvette and Classics in Downers Grove. The event will unveil the classic Cory Ness Victory Motorcycle that has been donated to Diveheart, for a fundraising drawing.

Downers Grove-based Diveheart provides scuba diving instruction and opportunities to children, adults and veterans with disabilities.

Diveheart will host the first look, which will feature complimentary food and beverages. The Diveheart team will be available to talk about the Diveheart mission and vision, as well as answer questions about the benefits of scuba diving for individuals with disabilities. Drawing tickets will be available for purchase. The motorcycle is valued at $18,000+.

WHY: Diveheart has amazing stories of hope and healing that show the benefits of scuba diving for individuals of all abilities. Parents of children with disabilities and family members of veterans and others with disabilities are many times unaware of the healing power of zero gravity. Diveheart hopes not only to build confidence, independence and self esteem through scuba diving, but also hopes to instill the can-do spirit in its participants of all ages and abilities.

HOW: Diveheart Scuba Experience (DSE) programs, which are held in pools around the country, are where Diveheart's instruction takes place. Diveheart does not charge for teaching individuals with disabilities. Since 2001, Diveheart has been inspiring people of all abilities around the country and around the world to Imagine the Possibilities in their lives.

Drawing tickets are $20/each or 6/$100. The motorcycle will remain on display at Bill Kay until July 17, 2016. The drawing will be held at the 2016 Victor Motor Cycle Rally in Townsend, Tennessee on July 17, 2016. Winner need not be present.
