Symphony certified as Women's Business Enterprise

VERNON HILLS - Symphony Clinical Research recently received national recertification as a Women's Business Enterprise by the Women's Business Development Center-Chicago, a regional certifying partner of the Women's Business Enterprise National Council.

WBENC's national standard of certification implemented by the Women's Business Development Center-Chicago involves an in-depth review of the business and site inspection. The certification process is designed to confirm the business is at least 51 percent owned, operated and controlled by a woman or women.

By including women-owned businesses among their vendors, corporations, and government agencies demonstrate their commitment to fostering diversity and the continued development of their supplier/vendor diversity programs.

"As a WBENC-Certified business, we know we are among a distinguished group of companies and are honored to continue to pave the way for women-owned businesses," said Symphony CEO Nicki Norris.

Formerly known as Clinical Resource Network LLC, Symphony Clinical Research is a global service providing in-home and alternate-site clinical services to patients in all phases and therapeutic areas of clinical trials.
