St. Peter Lutheran School Volleyball Team Makes History

The boys volleyball team from St. Peter Lutheran School in Arlington Heights capped off a memorable season by winning the Lutheran School Association State Volleyball Championship in Springfield, IL on November 8! The team became the first in St. Peter history to win a LSA volleyball title after defeating St. Paul, Mount Prospect in the championship match on Sunday afternoon. Eighth grader Luke Picchiotti was named to the LSA All-Tournament team. Led by head coach Steven Kay and assistant Kevin Orton, the Saints finished the season undefeated with a record of 25-0-1 winning the Bethany-Naperville Tournament, Trojan Classic, and taking home the NWSLC Conference championship as well. Congratulations to all of the players, coaches, and fans on a historic season!
