Delays of more than two hours are being reported at O'Hare International Airport due to high winds, aviation officials said.

Officials from the Chicago Department of Aviation said that more than 100 flights have been canceled at O'Hare this morning due to the gusting winds being reported.

Midway Airport is experiencing minimal delays and has not canceled any flights, officials said.

The National Weather Service is reporting that steady winds of more than 20 mph are being reported across the area this morning. The winds include wind gusts of up to 40 mph, meteorologists said.

The Chicago Department of Aviation is asking travelers to check with their individual airlines to determine flight status.
