Maple Cafe in Buffalo Grove celebrates its grand opening from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, with a fundraiser to benefit the Center for Enriched Living. Eats include skillets, omelets and other breakfast items, as well as lunch items like the Quinoa and Kale Chicken salad and the chicken bruschetta sandwich. Devon's Thanksgiving feast

Do Thanksgiving at Sullivan's Steakhouse in Naperville from noon to 8 p.m. Begin with salad or shrimp and lobster bisque; roasted turkey in a sweet onion apple-sausage stuffing and gravy; choose two sides from garlic horseradish mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole, shaved brussels sprouts and more.
