Holiday movies on the big screen in Antioch

The village of Antioch and the Antioch Theater will present classic holiday movies at 10 a.m. Saturday mornings throughout December. Each movie will have a limited number of tickets and once they are gone there will not be any other showings of that particular film. Tickets will be $3 per person and can be purchased at the box office, 378 Lake St., after 1 p.m. or online at AntiochTheatre.com. Tickets purchased online will be charged a convenience fee of $1.25 per ticket. Contact the parks and recreation department (847) 395-2160 or by email at antioch.il.gov. The schedule is: Dec. 5: "The Polar Express". Dec. 12: "Arthur Christmas." Dec. 19: "How The Grinch Stole Christmas." Dec. 26: "Home Alone."
