CLEVELAND -- The Denison duo of junior forward Anne Denz (Wheaton, IL/Wheaton North - 2013) and sophomore defender Drew Wentzel (Schaumburg, IL/James B. Conant - 2014) have been named the Offensive and Defensive Players of the Year, respectively, to highlight the 2015 All-North Coast Athletic Conference women's soccer selections.

Denz is making her second-straight appearance on the top team and third All-NCAC selection overall after also earning second-team laurels in 2013. Through 19 matches this season, Denz has been a mainstay up front for the Big Red with six goals and three assists for 15 total points. She was also credited with four game-winning goals during the regular season, which all came in key NCAC matches.

Wentzel, the 2014 NCAC Newcomer of the Year and first-team All-NCAC selection, once again bolstered DU's back line this year that has only allowed 13 goals in 1,753 minutes of action for a minuscule 0.67 goals-against-average. In addition, Wentzel has also contributed on the offensive side of the ball this season with a goal in the season-opener against John Carroll and an assist in the NCAC Tournament semifinal match against Kenyon.

Denz and Wentzel will lead DU into the NCAA Tournament for the 15th time in program history as the Big Red earned one of the 20 at-large bids into the 64-team field after finishing the regular season with an overall mark of 15-4-0. The Big Red will host DeSales (14-5-0)

in its opening round match on Saturday (11/14) at 1:30 p.m.
